1. Assumption of Risk: I acknowledge that riding bicycles on public roads and participating in Velo Escapes tours involves inherent risks, including but not limited to terrain, weather conditions, vehicular traffic, and equipment failure. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks.

2. Health Hazards: I voluntarily assume the risk of exposure to environmental toxins or infectious diseases. I confirm I am physically capable of participating in this tour without endangering myself or others.

3. Personal Responsibility: I agree to ride independently without constant supervision. I am responsible for observing all traffic conditions, signage, and surface hazards. Helmets meeting ANSI/SNELL standards must be worn at all times while riding.

4. Medical Consent: Should I become injured or ill, I consent to receive emergency medical treatment. I understand that Velo Escapes ride leaders act as volunteers regarding medical aid and I am solely responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

5. Release of Liability: I, for myself and my heirs, voluntarily release, discharge, and agree to hold harmless Velo Escapes, its officers, contractors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, or actions for injury, illness, death, or property damage connected with my participation.
